Yesterday as part of ICO, we went to a wildlife farm about an hour from Ouaga called 'La Ferme de Wedbila'. It was started by a man born in Canada but who has lived in Burkina since 1954.
The children got to see the animals quite close to, a bit too close sometimes!
We saw monkeys, a chimpanzee, snakes, bush rats, porcupines, polecats, warthogs, water buffalo's, civets, a hyena, jackals, antelopes and an ostrich, among other animals which we couldn't translate from French to English for the children!
